Yoga is vital for healthy and happy life. When we are doing yoga postures our body gets sufficient stretching and strain. Stretching is most important for active and healthy life. When we practice yoga our blood circulation and pulse rate becomes normal. Yoga gives us peace of mind. Peace is required mostly to brain . That's why yoga is important . All-round fitness. You are truly healthy when you are not just physically fit but also mentally and emotionally balanced.
Lakshmi was an accountant by profession before she discovered her passion for Yoga. She has completed 200 hours TTC in Hatha yoga from Santhi yoga training center and has specialized in kids yoga by completing TTC in Kids yoga and TTC in yoga for special needs children. She conducts workshops at various colleges and schools and other institutions. She is a yoga instructor at St.Shantal's school, Kowdiar, Trivandrum and also a trainer at Shanti Yoga, Kuravankonam. She imparts specialized yoga training at home for pre-natal and post-natal women. In her own words she describes it as follows "My passion for yoga started 7 years back when I was suffering from arthritis,asthma and depression. After delivery I had severe back pain and gained weight.Yoga helped me physically and mentally, It helped me to love myself and gave confidence and made me feel really good; it made my mind stable in any tough situation,so I wanted to spread the awareness , effects and techniques and uses of yoga"
